Initially, I was repulsed by the idea of consuming insects, but I saw an opportunity
to confront my fear by developing a 360° campaign and visual identity for a fictional line of insect-based food products by Nestlé. My goal was to create a brand that speaks to individuals like myself who are put off by the thought of eating insects.
Dining, whether shared with loved ones or enjoyed in solitude, should be a truly special experience, and I wanted to highlight that essence.
Through my research, I noticed a significant lack of transparency in how many brands present their food products, which struck me as illogical. When considering insect-based food, one’s imagination often conjures unappetizing images. With Galea, we aim to dispel these apprehensions. Our products offer complete visibility, allowing customers to know exactly what they are purchasing—wholesome food without visible insect parts. With Galea, we encourage boldness and embrace change!
